1973 Yamaha RT3 360 Unregistered US Import  Classic Restoration Project Without US Title

 This very well-respeted and much sought after 1973 Yamaha RT3 360 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

 As you can see this bike looks quite complete and original. With it's very low mileage it seems to have stood around forever ! We noted that; the paint has some rust scabs, the tailight lens is cracked.

The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims and working brakes.

The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome.

Instruments look ok and switches move freely.

The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

The paintwork is quite bright but has some marks throughout.

The seat base looks solid but some soft spots can be felt.

The standard exhaust is solid.

The engine is cosmetically clean.

We have had it turning over and sparking with some compression but we haven't managed to get it to fire so haven't had it running.
